Delivery Duty Paid
Ealega ships to the destinations listed in our Shipping Policy on a Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) basis. Relevant import duties and taxes are included in the product price.
What DDP Means
Under DDP shipping terms, Ealega arranges for applicable import duties and taxes associated with the shipment to be paid so that customers are not ordinarily required to pay those charges separately when the parcel is delivered.
Unexpected Customs Requests
If a carrier or customs authority unexpectedly asks you to pay an import duty or tax for an Ealega order, contact us before making payment when possible. Send your order number and a copy of the notice or charge. If immediate payment is necessary to prevent return or loss of the parcel, retain the official receipt and contact us promptly so we can review the charge.
Accurate Customs Declarations
We provide shipment and customs information in accordance with applicable requirements. We do not intentionally undervalue merchandise or provide false declarations.
Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information and for responding to reasonable requests from the carrier or customs authority that are necessary to complete delivery. Delays or costs caused by inaccurate information, refusal to cooperate, or prohibited import restrictions may remain the customer's responsibility to the extent permitted by law.
